At Study Mentors, our tutoring center in La Habra is geared towards helping our students meet and surpass all the academic challenges they face. Beyond helping students learn concepts strictly to pass their exams and classes, we aim to arm our students with useful skills that they can put towards all their classes throughout their academic careers.

This philosophy is at the core of all our offerings and our motto “your goals become our goals” speaks to this. Our desire is to help our students achieve their academic goals while ensuring they become the best students they can be.

Test Prep and College Planning

Our test prep for the SAT, ACT, and any other major exams aims to help students understand the key concepts they need to know for their tests. We don’t simply “teach for the test.” Plus, this strategy makes our test prep beneficial for other classes like English 11, English 12, and advanced math.  

​On the other side of college admissions, our college planning services can take many different forms. We can help students find scholarships, run through transcripts, figure out which schools to prioritize, and more – it all comes down to what our students and parents need. 

We’re More Than Just a College Prep Service Though

Our services don’t strictly target high school students that are preparing for college though. For some students, college is either a long way off or where they are now!

Study Mentors’ tutoring services aren’t specific to any one grade level and we can help students fulfill even basic needs. This might include general subject assistance or helping students improve their study habits.
